The Perfection which Christ demanded

The priesthood under which the law of first covenant was given was incapable of producing the perfection which Christ demanded in his New Testament Bride (Matthew 5:48; Hebrew 6:1-2)

The law was never given to give life (eternal life implied) (Gal 3:21)

Why did JESUS not condemn the woman?

The law was also ordained to administer condemnation and death (2 Corinthians 3:9; 2 Corinthians 3:6-7). While CHRIST came to administer the spirit and righteousness (2 Corinthians 3:8-9).

The law was also given to strengthen sin (Romans 7:13; 1 Corinthians 15:56)

The sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the law (1 Corinthians 15:56).

The law was also given to give self righteousness (Deuteronomy 6:25; Philippian 3:9)

There are two (2) distinct kinds of righteousness that are each linked to the old and new covenants respectively.

GOD has two brides with each Brides existence indexed to two different covenants.

The law was given, among other things to enable God's earthly bride, the children of Israel, to access and remain in the promised land (Deut. 4:1;8:1, Ps 105:8-11) and not to enable anyone to obtain eternal life, another covenant with the required capacity to give eternal life, had to be introduced.
